Tal como se comentaba en una información anterior, Rock-N-Roll Allstars decidieron cancelar todos los conciertos excepto el del día 27 de Abril en Lima, Perú, por lo que, a no se que cambien mucho las cosas, el de ayer fue el último concierto del  América Latina Tour 2012.

Paraguay, Argentina y Perú al final habrán sido los únicos países por los que habrán transitado Hughes & cia, mientras que Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Guatemala y Venezuela tendrán que esperar a una nueva ocasión. Eso sí, desde el Facebook del evento no paran de colgar notas de prensa explicando todos los detalles de las diversas cancelaciones.

Y ayer, en Perú, todo siguió por las sendas iniciadas el pasado día 19 en Asunción, Paraguay, con el mismo setlist y siguiendo la misma estructura, y de la misma manera que en los conciertos anteriores, no se ha tardado mucho en tener las primeras imagenes de lo sucedido en el Jockey Club de Lima:

STATEMENT FROM THE ARTISTS REGARDING ECUADOR, GUATEMALA, COSTA RICA, COLOMBIA, PANAMA, AND VENEZUELA GIGS

All of the artists involved in the Rock-N-Roll Allstars have built careers by going to far-off places to play. We have all toured the world countless times and have been absolutely HONORED by fans showing up whenever and wherever we have separately gone.

This honor is a reciprocal thing and cancelling gigs will always be a measure of very last resort for us artists.

To do a tour like we have just done down here took some risk. No promoter or agent had really ever done a show of this particular caliber; so it was in this realm that some yet unproven “agents” entered the playing field.

A big tour was proposed to us about 10 or so weeks ago, but as the leave-time for us approached, it was clear that some of these gigs were just not going to happen for varying reasons: Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama, and Guatemala.

We trusted the organizer of this tour, but became aware of some gross underlying problems as this tour progressed. These problems - as it turned out- had nothing to do with the local promoters of these aforementioned countries, and EVERYTHING to do with this tour organizer.

We will regroup and reschedule these shows for a later date. Think of them as only postponed - and we are more than a bit bummed out for our fans that we love so damn much.

Rock-N-Roll Allstars shall come back to these countries. That is a promise. We will use the right people and honor you true fans, who just simply want to rock. That is all we want to do. We shall return!
